Houston Rocks!

Houston was a blast! We got there earlier than last time to set up which gave us the opportunity to talk to some of the other vendors who were really curious about the Polaroid PoGo printer. Once the gates opened up, we were really busy. Again, being in front of the main stage allotted us not only the opportunity to hear the big bands, but also some great photo opportunities with the crowd.
Alyssa and Robert from Team Polaroid PoGo showed up around lunch and hung out with us for the day. I would definitely say that highlight of the day was when Alyssa spotted Aaron from Reel Big Fish and I said, “Let’s Polaroid PoGo him!”. Without hesitation we grabbed our gear and caught up with the Warped Tour star. He was extremely animated and cool. In the middle of Alyssa printing out his picture and telling him all about the product, he pulls out the old school version of a Polaroid camera (you know, the kind you shake until it comes into focus). Thank God for us bringing him up to date. I mean, being famous and all requires you to keep up. Right? That’s what we’re for. We were in a mob of others vying for his attention, so we didn’t chat for too long. I think that Alyssa might be floating on a cloud for a few days now, and now I at least know who I’m standing next to in the catering line.
By the middle of the day, word or picture got around about our photos and people were stopping by to get their souvenir guitar pick. The skateboard display is filling up and is becoming a point of interest for people passing by. I told Mike that I think we need at least one “speedo” picture with the Polaroid PoGo printer at every tour since there always seems to be a group of high school boys in colorful swim attire. He assured me we would not have to try too hard for that one.
Houston was an awesome time and got me even more excited about our next stop. Especially because I discovered a band called The Secret Handshake who I really liked and I think Mike may be star struck for the whole tour. Its pretty cute.
If you were in Houston and stopped by the Polaroid PoGo tent, let us know what you though of the printer! And if you are going to be in Atlanta, be sure to come over, say hi, and get your picture taken AND printed out with you friends!
